Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2025-01-01

This Privacy Policy explains how Arpeggio.one (“Arpeggio”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, tools, shop, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). Arpeggio is operated by Art Sea LLC.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide to us

Some parts of Arpeggio are available without signing in, including public articles, public media, and general browsing. However, calculators and most interactive tools require sign-in so we can maintain sessions, enforce access rules, protect the tools from abuse, and associate saved settings, generated outputs, or results with your account where applicable.

Some articles or media entries, including items visually marked with a gold border, may also require sign-in or member access. Public articles and ungated content remain available without an account unless otherwise indicated.

Some tools, product features, beta features, previews, or advanced capabilities may be available only in a limited, trial, usage-capped, rate-limited, member-only, or account-gated form. These limits help us manage reliability, server resources, AI usage costs, abuse prevention, and fair access to the Service.

If you create an account, sign in, buy something, use account-backed tools, or contact us directly, we may receive information such as your name, email address, account identifier, profile information provided by your sign-in provider, purchase-related information, planner inputs or generated outputs where applicable, and the content of any message you send us.

1.2 Usage data and log information

When you access Arpeggio.one, our servers automatically collect basic technical information, such as:

  • IP address and general location (derived from IP)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device and operating system information
  • Pages visited and actions taken on the site
  • Date and time of your requests
  • Tool usage, feature access, and request metadata needed to operate gated or limited features
  • Shop activity, purchase intent metadata, checkout correlation identifiers, and purchase status metadata
  • AI narration request metadata, where AI-assisted planner narration or similar features are used

This information is used to operate, secure, and improve the Service, enforce access rules and usage limits, diagnose issues, process shop flows, support AI-assisted features where enabled, and understand aggregate usage patterns.

1.3 Cookies and analytics

Arpeggio uses cookies and similar technologies to support basic site functionality, sign-in, account sessions, access control, shop flows, and analytics.

We currently use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to collect aggregated usage information. Google Analytics may set its own cookies and collect data such as pages visited, time on page, and basic device information. This data is processed in accordance with Google’s privacy policies.

You can learn more about how Google uses data from its partners at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites .

1.4 Google OAuth and YouTube Data

Arpeggio may connect to YouTube Data API using Google OAuth. This is used primarily to display and keep in sync videos and metadata from our own YouTube channel on Arpeggio.one.

When Google OAuth is used, we may receive:

  • Basic Google account information, such as email and profile name, if requested
  • Access tokens and refresh tokens needed to call the YouTube Data API
  • Read-only metadata about YouTube videos and the associated channel

We use these tokens only to perform the actions described, such as listing videos and metadata for display on the site. We do not request write scopes that would allow us to upload, edit, or delete videos, comments, or playlists on your behalf.

Our use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy .

1.5 Account and member features

Arpeggio uses account-based access for calculators, most interactive tools, saved settings, member-only content, trial access, limited-use features, purchases, and some articles or media entries. Content marked with a gold border generally indicates member-only or sign-in-gated access.

When you use account-based features, we may store basic account information needed to identify your account, maintain your session, enforce access rules, provide access to gated tools or articles, manage trial or member access, enforce usage limits, and associate saved content, planner data, purchases, settings, or preferences with you.

This may include your account identifier, email address, display name, profile image or avatar if provided by your sign-in provider, registration/authentication timestamps, membership or access status, records of which account-based features or purchased items you are allowed to access, purchase history, and usage metadata needed to enforce limits or prevent abuse.

1.6 Shop purchases and Gumroad

Arpeggio may offer shop items, digital products, paid downloads, support products, cash shop items, or related purchase options. Some shop items may link to Gumroad or another third-party checkout provider to complete payment.

When you choose to buy a shop item through Arpeggio, we may create a purchase intent associated with your account before redirecting you to the checkout provider. This intent may include an internal intent identifier, your account identifier, your email address, the product SKU or item identifier, and a timestamp.

The checkout link may include limited correlation parameters, such as an intent identifier and SKU, so that a completed purchase can be matched back to your Arpeggio account after checkout.

After checkout, the payment provider may send Arpeggio a purchase confirmation or webhook. Arpeggio may use that confirmation to record purchase status, associate the purchased item with your account, display the purchase in your account page, provide access to purchased content where applicable, and maintain purchase records for support, accounting, fraud prevention, and operational purposes.

Payment details, such as full card numbers or payment instrument credentials, are handled by the checkout provider and are not intended to be stored by Arpeggio. Your use of Gumroad or another checkout provider is also subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.

1.7 Pareto Charts / Planner data

If you use Pareto Charts or related planning tools, Arpeggio may process and store planning inputs you provide, such as goals, activities, effort estimates, values, schedule horizons, dependencies, saved plan names, shared-plan identifiers, generated planning results, and related configuration.

Pareto Charts plans may be stored on Arpeggio systems when needed to provide account-backed planner features, saved plans, plan recovery, generated outputs, account sync, shared planner links, or similar functionality. Registered users may choose to save plans to their account. Shared planner links may create immutable or separately stored copies that can be viewed by anyone with the link.

Public, unsaved, or temporary planner use may rely on browser/session state or temporary server-side preparation so the tool can calculate or preserve your current working plan. Temporary planner/session data may be handled differently from saved account-backed plans, depending on the feature and implementation.

Planner inputs can describe personal priorities, time availability, finances, work plans, dependencies, constraints, or life plans. Please avoid entering information you do not want stored, processed, or included in a shared link.

1.8 Planner AI narration and AI service providers

Arpeggio may use OpenAI or another AI service provider to generate explanations, summaries, or narration for Pareto Charts results and other planner outputs.

When AI narration is used, Arpeggio may send selected planner inputs, solved planner items, generated schedules, constraints, assumptions, scores, dependencies, and related context to the AI service provider so it can produce a readable explanation of the planner result.

Planner AI narration is intended to explain or summarize calculated planner results. It should not be treated as financial, legal, medical, employment, tax, engineering, safety, or other professional advice. You should review the underlying planner data, assumptions, calculations, and tradeoffs before relying on any generated narration.

AI service providers may process and retain submitted data according to their own terms, privacy policies, data processing agreements, and retention rules. Please avoid entering highly sensitive information into planner fields if you do not want it processed by Arpeggio or, when AI narration is enabled, by an AI service provider.

1.9 Llama Lens configuration stored on Arpeggio

Llama Lens is a browser extension and Arpeggio configuration tool for applying AI reading lenses to web content. When you use Llama Lens Advanced Settings on Arpeggio, we may store non-secret configuration associated with your account.

This may include house lens enabled states, custom lens labels, custom IF condition prompts, custom THEN transform prompts, default accordion/display settings, scan thresholds, safety settings, and plug ticker preferences or pause settings where available.

Llama Lens configuration exported from Arpeggio to the extension is intended to be a non-secret settings snapshot. Provider API keys are not intended to be stored by Arpeggio as part of this settings snapshot.

1.10 Llama Lens data stored locally in the browser extension

Llama Lens stores certain information locally in your browser extension storage. This may include your provider API key, configured provider endpoint and model, ignored domains, local activity or diagnostic logs, cached imported settings, and other local extension preferences.

Local extension data is controlled through your browser and extension environment. Arpeggio does not receive your locally stored provider API key merely because it exists in the extension.

1.11 Llama Lens data sent to your configured AI provider

When Llama Lens processes a web page, selected page text, enabled lens prompts, and provider request metadata needed by the API may be sent directly from the extension to the AI provider endpoint you configure, such as OpenAI or a local OpenAI-compatible endpoint.

In the current architecture, Arpeggio does not proxy these Llama Lens AI requests and does not act as the intermediary for the page text sent to your configured provider.

Your configured AI provider may process and retain requests according to that provider’s own terms, privacy policy, and data controls. If you configure a local provider endpoint, processing may remain on infrastructure you control, depending on your setup.

If Arpeggio later adds hosted or proxied AI processing for Llama Lens, we will update this policy and related product notices before presenting that behavior as normal operation.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate and maintain the Service, calculators, interactive tools, shop, public content, and member-only content
  • Maintain sign-in sessions, account access, trial access, subscriptions, memberships, purchases, and gated content rules
  • Enforce calculator, tool, feature, article, media, purchase, download, and gold-border content access
  • Apply rate limits, usage caps, fair-use rules, and other controls needed to manage server resources, AI usage costs, and abuse prevention
  • Process shop flows, create purchase intents, match completed checkout events to accounts, and display purchases in user accounts
  • Provide access to purchased shop items, downloads, paid content, or related account-linked benefits
  • Generate AI-assisted summaries, explanations, or narration for solved planner items and planner outputs
  • Understand how visitors use Arpeggio and improve the user experience
  • Display relevant YouTube videos and metadata on the site
  • Respond to support requests or inquiries you send us
  • Monitor and protect the security and integrity of the Service

For account-based tools and gated content, we may also use information to save and load your settings, maintain sign-in sessions, enforce calculator and tool access, maintain member access, show or hide gold-border member content, generate planner outputs, create shared planner links, export Llama Lens settings snapshots to your browser extension, and help diagnose sync or configuration issues.

For shop purchases, we may use purchase intent records, checkout correlation identifiers, webhook confirmations, product SKUs, account identifiers, email addresses, and purchase status metadata to match completed purchases to your account, show purchases on your account page, provide access to purchased items, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and keep operational and accounting records.

For Pareto Charts, we may use planner information to calculate plans, save and load account-backed plans, create shared planner links, restore prior work where supported, generate outputs, and improve planner reliability.

For planner AI narration, we may send selected planner inputs, solved planner items, schedules, assumptions, constraints, scores, dependencies, generated outputs, and related context to OpenAI or another AI service provider to generate readable summaries, explanations, or narration.

For Llama Lens, Arpeggio uses stored configuration to prepare non-secret settings snapshots for the extension. The extension then applies those settings locally and sends selected page text to the AI provider you configure.

3. Legal Bases (where applicable)

Where required by applicable law, we process personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Our legitimate interest in operating, securing, limiting abuse of, and improving the Service
  • Your consent, for example where required for analytics, OAuth authorization, optional AI narration, or optional features
  • Performance of a contract or requested service, where needed to provide account-based, member, paid, trial, saved-plan, shop, purchase, download, or AI-assisted functionality
  • Compliance with legal obligations

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers and infrastructure partners, such as hosting and analytics providers, who assist us in operating Arpeggio and are bound by appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.
  • Google, when you use Google OAuth or when our site calls YouTube API Services, under Google’s terms and policies.
  • Payment, checkout, membership, or account providers, such as Gumroad or similar providers, when they are used to support purchases, paid downloads, subscriptions, trial access, or member-only access.
  • AI service providers, such as OpenAI or similar providers, when used to generate planner narration, summaries, explanations, or other AI-assisted outputs.
  • Authorities or third parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

When you buy a shop item through a third-party checkout provider, Arpeggio may send or append limited purchase correlation information, such as an intent identifier and SKU, so the completed purchase can be matched back to your account. The checkout provider may send Arpeggio purchase confirmation information, such as sale identifiers, buyer email, product information, and checkout metadata.

When Arpeggio uses an AI provider for planner narration or similar features, selected planner content and generated planner results may be sent to that provider to produce the requested output.

When you use Llama Lens with a remote AI provider, the extension may send selected page text, enabled lens prompts, and provider request metadata directly to that provider. This is controlled by your extension configuration and the provider endpoint you choose.

Arpeggio does not sell Llama Lens custom prompts, planner inputs, saved plans, provider configuration data, shop purchase records, AI narration data, or member access data.

5. Data Retention

We retain server logs, analytics data, account records, access records, shop purchase records, purchase intent records, usage-limit metadata, AI narration request metadata, and other information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, diagnose issues, enforce access rules, prevent abuse, and improve performance, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

OAuth tokens and related credentials are retained only for as long as they are needed to provide the relevant functionality, such as keeping video lists in sync, and may be rotated or deleted as part of security practices.

Shop purchase records, purchase intent records, checkout correlation metadata, and account purchase indexes may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide access to purchased items, show purchases in your account, handle support requests, maintain accounting records, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

Saved planner data, generated planner outputs, shared planner copies, and Llama Lens Advanced Settings may be retained for as long as your account remains active or as long as needed to provide the relevant saved-plan, sharing, or settings-sync functionality. Temporary planner/session data may be retained for shorter operational periods.

AI narration prompts, selected planner context, generated explanations, and related request metadata may be retained by Arpeggio as needed to provide the feature, diagnose issues, improve reliability, enforce usage limits, or maintain operational records. AI service providers may also retain submitted data according to their own terms, privacy policies, data processing agreements, and retention rules.

Shared planner links may remain accessible to anyone with the link for as long as the shared copy is retained. Please treat shared links as intentionally shareable.

Llama Lens local extension data, such as provider API keys, ignored domains, local diagnostics, and cached imported settings, is stored in your browser extension environment and can be removed by clearing extension data or uninstalling the extension.

6. Your Choices and Rights

6.1 Browser and cookie controls

You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or notify you when a site attempts to set a cookie. Some features of the Service, including sign-in, calculators, most interactive tools, shop flows, member-only articles, gold-border content access, saved plans, purchases, and trial or usage-limited tools, may not function properly without cookies.

6.2 Google OAuth and YouTube access

You may revoke Arpeggio’s access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account security settings . When you revoke access, we will no longer be able to use OAuth tokens to access your Google or YouTube data, and associated tokens stored by Arpeggio will be deleted within a reasonable period.

6.3 Access, correction, and deletion

If you have submitted personal information to us, created an account, saved planner data, made a purchase, used AI narration, or used account-backed features, and would like to request access, correction, or deletion, you may contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to any legal obligations, security requirements, and operational limits.

6.4 Shop purchase choices

Shop purchases are completed through third-party checkout providers such as Gumroad where indicated. You should review the checkout provider’s terms and privacy policy before completing a purchase.

If a completed purchase does not appear in your Arpeggio account, you may contact us for support. We may use the checkout provider’s confirmation data, sale identifiers, buyer email, product SKU, and Arpeggio purchase intent records to investigate and associate the purchase with the correct account where appropriate.

6.5 Planner choices

You may choose not to save planner data to your account where the relevant feature allows temporary or unsaved use. If you save a plan, it may be stored on Arpeggio systems and associated with your account. If you create a shared planner link, anyone with that link may be able to view the shared copy. Treat shared links as intentionally shareable.

If planner AI narration is available, you may choose not to use it where the feature is optional. If you use AI narration, selected planner inputs and solved planner results may be sent to an AI service provider such as OpenAI to generate the explanation.

You should avoid entering highly sensitive personal, financial, medical, legal, or private information into planner fields unless you are comfortable with that information being processed and, for saved or shared plans, stored by Arpeggio or sent to an AI service provider when AI narration is enabled.

6.6 Llama Lens choices

You can control which Llama Lens lenses are enabled, edit or remove custom lenses, adjust local extension settings, configure ignored domains, and choose whether to use a remote provider or a local provider endpoint.

You can remove local Llama Lens data by clearing extension storage or uninstalling the browser extension. Provider API keys should be managed through your browser extension settings and, where applicable, through the AI provider’s own dashboard.

You can reduce what Llama Lens sends to a provider by disabling lenses, increasing scan thresholds, using ignored domains, avoiding sensitive pages, or choosing a local provider endpoint where appropriate.

6.7 AI provider choices

If you configure Llama Lens to use a third-party AI provider, or if you use an Arpeggio feature that sends selected content to an AI service provider for narration, summaries, explanations, or other generated outputs, your use of those features may also be subject to the provider’s own terms, privacy policy, and data controls.

For Llama Lens, you may switch to a local compatible endpoint if you prefer to avoid sending selected page text to a remote AI provider. For Arpeggio-hosted AI narration or similar features, provider choice and availability may depend on how the feature is implemented.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Access controls, account gates, rate limits, trial limits, checkout correlation, AI usage controls, and abuse-prevention measures are also used to protect the reliability of the Service and reduce unauthorized or excessive use.

8. Third-Party Links

Arpeggio may contain links to third-party websites or services, including YouTube, Gumroad, AI providers, and other external resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

9. Children’s Privacy

Arpeggio is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that we have collected such information, please contact us so that we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
